Sony Music is looking for talents
who want to work as global artistes with the goal of expanding into Asia!

Application Requirements

Application Period

The application deadline is
23:59 JST on 28 February 2022 (Monday)

Eligibility

● Are interested in performing across Asia
● Are interested in singing and performing onstage
● Can speak conversational Japanese and can communicate well in other foreign languages, or are highly motivated to learn
● All genders are welcome
● Are aged 16 to 25 as of 28 February 2022 (Monday)
● Are currently living in Japan
● Do not have an existing contract with a talent agency, record company, music publishing label, etc.
● Can participate until the final screening
● Can appear on TV, online, and other media during the audition process

Screening

1st Round
(Application Screening) From 23:59 PM JST
28 February 2022 (Monday)
2nd Round
(Online Audition) From 12 March(Saturday)
to 13 March 2022 (Sunday)
Final Round
(Personal Interview in Tokyo) 26 March 2022 (Saturday)

Notes

・We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the screening status or selection results after application.
・Only successful applicants will be notified of the results.
・Those who already belong to or have a contract with another entertainment production company cannot apply.
・Applicants are requested to prepare all technical requirements for the online screening.
・The screening schedule may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as the worsening of the COVID-19 situation or other natural disasters.
・There is no fee to participate in this audition.
・Applicants will have to bear transportation and accommodation expenses to the audition venue.
・If a minor applies, the consent of a guardian is required. (If you are under 15 years old, please check with your parents)
・The submitted application materials will not be used for any purpose other than selection and inquiries.
